about
Mary Chauvel (b. 1996) is a working artist and designer residing in her hometown in the woods of Texas. After graduating from the Academy of Art in 2020 with a bachelor's in Fine Art, Mary began working as a full-time artist and has recently branched into interior design. She has studied the basics at Parsons New School and currently attends the Academy of Art University to pursue her MFA in the field.
Her style is an eclectic mix of Art Deco, postmodern, contemporary, and mid-century modern styles. Mary’s design philosophy is to highlight the unique features of a home while honoring a client’s story. Through the layering of textiles, curation of art, and collection of objects, Mary creates a visual narrative of her client’s unique history.
